The Improv Cart is Cape Town’s premier hub for live improv comedy and unscripted theatre, dedicated to building community through performance and play since 2020.

We deliver a vibrant variety of high-energy live shows, ranging from fast-paced short-form games to deeply collaborative long-form unscripted narratives.

Alongside our performances, we run weekly classes and specialised intensive workshops for all skill levels, and host interactive audience jams where everyone can experience improvisation firsthand.

Beyond the stage, we teach and facilitate professional business training, corporate workshops, and team-building sessions that foster communication and collaboration for companies across South Africa.
